yes they do. but they don't acurately describe the color. which i admit is hard to do, but i wish more people would start calling colors by their colorwheel name such as orange red, blue green, and when they use the word blue refer to the actual color blue. i bet most people haven't see true blue, red, and yellow. it pretty hard to mix them accurately.

What does noble green, moss green, and the other green described look like? I have seen all of the colors yet.

ask adam or someone to post more colors, seems like you've done well getting answers so far

i never have talked to adam before. he never seems to be on when i am. if he is i will bug him. maybe to update his 4750 rumor thread. i just saw another picture of the 4750 in the laptop magazine. it has aluminum trimming (or something else silvery) on the edges like the 4780.

i have requested the colors from Tom@PCTorque. Btw amdboard has a few pics of the 4750 uncolored of course.

Sorry, mayaman2, but the only pictures we have so far are the ones listed under the "details" button for the paint options (the little "+" button) and the ones in the PC Torque painted notebook thread.

Do you only offer single color paint jobs? Or can you have something custom done that includes detail work?

Maya, if there's a certain green that pushes your button, go down to an auto-paint place and see if they can't spot you a sample that you could send in to PCT for a custom job. If you did it that way, you'd get exactly the same color.

i guess they could match my car spray paint. although it would be awesome if they could paint my laptop like spider man.

I was a fan of the Moss Green when I was researching the systems. That seemed to be the right shade of dark green for me.

We don't currently do any detail work, but it is always something on the horizon. We are playing around with a few coloring option currently, and we have yet to find any more options that we will want to put up quite yet.

ah the green font is killing my eyes. seriously though i think my color choices are down to sage green and noble green. i think these color look unique without screaming "steal me" but i haven't seem them on a 8790 which would be the closest available laptop in the looks department.

The green font looks good on the new pages, but I'm guessin' maya's got his browser set on the white screen. I would imagine it'd be a bear to look at on the white screen

nope grey screen. on my computer white is blinding. maybe because its 6 month old lcd. and a sony. does that mean it has xbrite? seems pretty damn bright to me. awesome for sniping.

its a SDMHX73 model. 17" its actually pretty much the same as the NEC 17" from circuit city but without the protective shielding and it has a dvi connection. i got so much better at day of defeat when i switched to it because i could now see snipers which before was just dark screen.

Back on topic though. I want to know the whole process the painting goes through, why it takes 3 weeks, cost 500, and needs to be baked? And what are these magical car paints that are better than pep boys spray paints plastikote brand in perticular. And Luke if your respond no lime green post, hurts my eyes. Dark colors only.
