I think they can do custom badges, shoot them an email to find out

Those aluminum badges don't scratch up anything when the lid is closed? Damn you Amir, first it was the Vanguard case, and now I am really liking how those badges look, too! My 8790 is supposed to arrive tomorrow, and it looks like I might be making yet another purchase!

I ordered a badge and am also curious about whether or not they might scratch the screen when closed, i looked under the lid with a flashlight while it was closed and it appeared to have some space, but i don't know how high the badges stand. Thanks

This is something I haven't thought about upon ordering, but no, not scratches at all.

Does anybody know if Directron does custom ones? I know www.thepcmodshop.com will do custom ones, and they are out of aluminum, too.

Good taste Spax, which one(s) did you get?

nick, I'm not sure. I emailed them as well about making custom badges, they never answered back (this was a month ago). Their customer service sucks, they sent me by accident an AMD athlon badge. The process to straighten this up was hell, they were all pissy about it. At least I got to keep the Athlon badge for my desktop

That sucks. I think I remember some other people complaining about RMA'ing stuff with them and the hassle it caused.

Directron requires a $10 min. Their sold out on the Eagle badge too. Check out http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...nu_search.html

They have lots in stock, and no $10 min. $2.50 shipping too..
