Unplugged Network Cable

There is something serious wrong with the Sager 8790 Network Cards, including the Wireless Ethernet Card. My Sager 8790 spontaneously reported that my network cable is unplugged when the cable/switches are in perfect working order. I read a previous post in the forums and downloaded the new Realtek drivers from the according manufacture's websites. This did not help. I am still getting an error saying that my network cable is unplugged. On my wireless card, my signal is extremely weak. I tried the trick where you switch the antennas on the wireless card in some previous post, this made things worse actually. I replaced the antenna back to it's original location and now I see some connections but a very few compared to my colleage's Toshiba where numerous connections appear with higher signals than mine. Is anyone else experiencing these problems? It is pissing me off to no tomorrow.

have you tried different network cables/ports? they say external wireless gets better reception than internal.

Is this a fresh install? If not you may have a driver confilict, you never uninstalled the old driver. Also is Wireless Zero Configuration on? If so turn it off.

Not a single problem with mine. Wired or wireless.

Unplugged Network Cable: Fixed

I took my notebook down to Sager last friday recieved it yesterday and everything is working fine. The onboard network card was defective and Sager replaced the motherboard. The onboard network card works fine now but I still recieve little or no signal strength from my wireless card.
