Asus W1N vs. Acer 2010: 1.8 P-M Dothan?

Trying to decide on a notebook in the next two weeks, and it's looking like a toss up between the Asus W1N and the Acer 2010-series.

Unfortunately for me, I'm a bit unwilling to settle for less than a 1.8 P-M Dothan, which leaves both of these out in the rain.

I was wondering if anybody knew whether either the Asus or Acer...

1. comes in a barebones config?
2. can have their processor/chipset swapped out for a Dothan variant?
3. are soon going to be updated to Dothan by their respective manufacturers?

This is my first post in what I'm sure will be a quest of no small stature

Thanks in advance for any and all help! Cheers

Wrong section... you should post such questions in the notebook general section next time.

1. Neither can come as barebones.
2. Its possible, but voids your warranty most likely.
3. The Acer Aspire 2020 series is the dothan upgrade to the 2010 series.

Thanks, and sorry, forgot I was in this section when posting. Will remember for next time.
