turning off caps lock

Does anyone know a way to make the caps lock key not function without having to rip up the keyboard? a software solution or something. The little basterd gets in the was for just about everything........or I've jsut got really fat fingers.

You can map it to something less harmful.. but can't turn it off

or better yet, do a search on google for how to turn the caps lock off.
