I rather have a logitech mx500 and the color scheme doesn't match the 8887. It matches the 5670 though.

it's not blue like it looks like in the pic, it's actualy black/dark grey and silver.

It looks very much like the 4-D Web Cruiser from IOGear. If it is the same mouse, then save your money. It sucks big time. I used it for about 5 minutes and threw it out.

dgantony.

Don't ever get a cheaply made mouse. They'll irriate you to no end. If you don't want to spend above thirty get the logitech mx300. I actually use a microsoft intellimouse and I love it. Once I get my Sager its going to become my laptop mouse and I'm going to get an mx500 for my desktop. I'm heavily into unreal tournament 2003 and a good mouse and mousepad is your best weapon in that game.

you should get a Razer Boomslang for gaming

Didn't say it was for gaming, said it's a good Laptop Mouse as in for Generalised Use.

If I wanted the a gaming mouse i'd just use my IntelliMouse Explorer since it works great for gaming.

Well, i'f you're 'heavily' into UT2k3 than i'd suggest you'd pick up a RazorMouse... the best weapon for FPS on the market at the momment.

it is

it is a sweet mouse though...whats a link to the razormouse?

You are seriously suggesting that I trade in my optical intellimouse for a ball mouse? Thats not going to happen. It may have been a good mouse two years ago, but it is not the best now. My next mouse is going to be the mx500. Every review for it states its the best gaming mouse out right now.

Speaking of MICE,

Anyone able to get the touchpad software and logitech software to work simultaneously? I would like to use the scroll wheel for double click but would also like to be able to use the scrolling feature of the touchpad's middle button just below the touchpad.

Speaking of MICE,

My cat brought in TWO mice this morning... left them at the strike-side of the jam to our bedroom door and guest bathroom door... TWO! And the lil' bastard just played with them to death, didn't even eat them or tear 'em up (so at least there wasn't any blood and guts to clean up).

Glad my wife didn't see them first, that would have woke the house up! Judging from the estimated body temperature and putrification level, I'd say they gave up the ghost around 2am PST, 5/2/2003. R.I.P.
