you will, just takes some time, you did click the join button right? if you did, then it'll take a day or two for you to show up.

Hell, just checked, and your up there, and your credits just started rolling in, they can take up to a day to catch up.

I see it now, but that absolutely sucks! all my old credits stay old credits and don't count towards my ranking here (or so it seems). Unless I'm mistaken. geez.

Yeah, it kinda sucks, but kinda gives you a new start. I think I'll pull first for awhile, not sure how long I'll hold it once your credits start rolling in. I think you'll take me in under a week as far as average credits, hell I think you'll top my total credits in 2 weeks, you seem to have over twice the processing power that I have

yea, that's if I let the thing run 24/7, which is a rarity since I usually only run the laptop when I'm using it.

And I withdraw my moving up the ladder comment, I didn't notice but I was sorting by averages, and sorting by total, I'm further down the list, but it's ok, I'll catch up to first place somehow :P

haha, I noticed I'm not last anymore.

Looks like your catching, guess I need to put the hammer down

Anybody having a problem uploading or downloading work? I have a bunch of work to upload and I can't and my que is now full of already processed work. It also won't download any new work. I can connect to the internet (obviously) fine and also get to the Boinc and seti websites. Any idea on if it's a server based failure?

Update

Looks like 15 of the 16 servers are down

From the SETI web page

The file server containing the upload/download storage hung last evening. We had to power cycle it today to bring it back. It is now back up and the RAID is resync'ing. When this is complete we will bring scheduling and data service back on line.

yea, I read those links but I never saw any of the SETI people confirming anything so... I hope they get it working soon so I can start crunching again.
This is so sad....my Sentia would chew through a unit in 2-3hrs, my desktop takes about 10-12hrs...
Looks like keisur and I are in the lead for average credits, I think we'll snag first and second place soon, you guys need to catch up!

We had already snagged 1 and 2 for recent average when you posted, er, when I read the post.

I don't run BOINC on the 7700 anymore usually since I've been using running SolidWorks on it for some designs at work. I just have my P4-2.2 with 1gb ram running it right now, so my numbers aren't growing as rapidly as they had been.

DesertJester, your rabbit's teef are off, I think somebody jacked him up.

26? You need to switch over to the boinc webiste, the classic seti is going away soon. There's only 10 of us on the new one.
