5690 beep codes

It was afraid of the water?

Google for the Bios and check from there into the POST "Beep Codes".

I think thats either system memory or video memory not initializing/addressing properly. Unless its really a severe issue a simple reboot should alleviate the problem.

2 beeps usually means parity circuit failure.

The 1st beep is reserved for the "Start Up" beep. If you have that disable, read the 1-2 as 0-2, etc... A bit confusing; however, it will tell what is going on.

Omaha Forgive me if I'm wrong but the first beep you'd Regularly hear, isn't that when bios hands the boot up over to the OS?
