All I have to say is, which is faster? that is what I thought...let me see sisoft sandra arithmetic....I don't care about the other benches because they take too much time...

cracked hinges from less than a few months use... aparently a problem with the build quality of emachines that has effected numerous other members... see thread here:

even after numerous complaints, emachines said "we are aware of this problem, but since this is classified as physical wear, it is not covered under warranty" when obviously it is a defect...

see what one emachines owner did to remedy this problem, after being denied a fix from emachines...

Because obviously, a few outdated benchmarks that you have chosen arbitrarily are the sole measurements of computer performance.

If you look at all the reviews done here

3dmark01
3dmark03
aquamark03
sisoft sandra
and gaming benchmarks are all standard tests here to measure a systems performance as a reference point to compare w/ other systems

those "other" benchmarks your refering to is NOT a waste of time

3dmark01 is dated as it is, like i said its using dx8

yes I know of the cracked hinges, it is a problem of all the machines made by the company Emachine contracted with. It does not affect the integrity at all. If you would like to say that is the end all be all....then I am sure I could find a problem with yours as well.

im not saying thats the end all of everything

but its definetly a deciding factor if u were to purchase a notebook yes?

just trying to point out that its not all 'quality' that they make. they make good value priced $$ machines and i'd recommend them for anyone who needed a good performance machine w/ a budget of 1250 or so.
