I am wondering if there is any program that will let me invert my laptop's lcd screen upside down. Before you think Im retarded let me explain.... I am an electrician on a nuclear powered submarine. Out sleeping space is fairly cramped, what I am trying to do is find a way to invert my screen so that I can strap my laptop to the rack above me, therefore I need the screen to be upside down to be able to do this. A friend of mine has a personal DVD player that can invert its screen; making it kind of a flip down screen. I figure if they can make a DVD player LCD screen do it, why not a laptop screen?

I recommend installing the latest video drivers for your graphics card, and then checking the advanced settings for a way to flip the screen to whatever angle.
I have a Ti-200 Geforce3 in my desktop, and if you go to Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced > [find a tab related to your graphics card], there will probably be an option for this.
If I remember correctly, my bro had an option like this with his ATI card.
Hope that helps.

j21blackjack,
I used to use the program Pivot Pro which you can find at http://us.portrait.com/ and it lets you rotate the screen in any direction, and you can set up hotkeys to do the rotating. I read on one of these threads that in the latest ATI Catalyst 3.2 drivers there's an option to rotate the screen, but there's at least 2 or 3 dozen drivers that can be selected, so it would be a matter of trying them out one after another to find it. I haven't found it yet myself!
