Ordered an Aviator CX5 from Hypersonic yesterday...

Been reading this board for a week or more trying to decide which vendor to buy it from and finally, though they take longer, I've decided Hypersonic was the way to go. The specs are:

Delivery date is 7/19, hopefully sooner (it used to say 7/25). Decided not to have it painted (very tempting, but too expensive). Thankfully I have a friend who paints cars and he already said he would paint it for me. Just gonna be a pain taking the thing apart piece by piece and waiting. Hypersonic had the better warranty options and bettery return policy than many of the other places. Plus they do that 72 hour burn in and no dead pixel guarantee. Voodoo PC would have had my money if they weren't so DAMN OVERPRICED!

Surprise surprise. DELAYED! Same reason as some other guy on this board. They received a bad shipment of lcd's from Taiwan and are waiting on them to come in. I hope they're not lying. Regardless, they upgraded me from ground to next day air shipping.

I sent them an email to check on the status. When they emailed me back saying it was delayed I replied:

"I understand, and almost expected a delay after reading Hypersonic's
resellerratings and browsing notebookforums.com. However, I also
expect some kind of pre-emptive notification in the event of any
delays. I shouldn't have to email a few days before expected shipping
to find this out. I greatly appreciate your "quality control" in this
matter as I'm hoping to receive a perfect lcd screen. I only hope the
lcd's arrive soon as I, among everyone else I'm sure, urgently need
this laptop as soon as possible for work-related reasons. Please don't
overpromise and underdeliver. If you honestly think the screens will
be in next week I will expect it, but if there is a chance of further
delays I may have to cancel and order elsewhere.

They upgraded me to overnight shipping too, but that doesn't mean jack if it means I'll have to wait another 3 weeks for the darn lcd's to show up. (If thats even the case)
