I went to this neat place called a bank and asked for a computer loan. All i had to do was give them an invoice of what I wanted and they gave me a loan for $3,500 I currently pay $138 a month for my laptop for the next 1.3 years although I hope to pay it off early. The funny thing is I only pay $153 a month for my car? The main reason I did it was to build credit. (yhea sure credit.) Most banks have computer loans my intrest rate is set for 7% wich is better than any credit card I could find.

Yeah, I didn't pay it all off at once. I do not have a real job, so it was pretty much impossible to do that unless i wanted to wait a couple years to amass that cash, so I did just what Brain did. Just get a loan and pay it off monthly.

Wow I never thought about getting a loan from a bank for a computer. I only pay cash for most things because I can't stand paying interest. I recently just paid off my second car in 5 months. I beacon at like 800 or so on my credit, so I at least don't need loans for credit. My car loan was 7.69 percent up from 4.5 on another car I had just prior (I sold it to get the other one), so I went to my insurance company and got a loan at 4.99 percent. I paid that sucker off in like 5 months because I just can't stand interest, but I wanted to get some sort of loan credit. I never paid less than $1000 a payment

Anyway my answer is work hehe................why is work out of the question donnie?

well i think theres not really another possiblity to get to 2800 Euros than work
im seventeen and i work since 3 summers for it...i had to carry a lot of beer and drinks to bars and pubs...but i think you could also ask your family for a cheap loan...

Everyone... please don't flame/hate me...

I was allowed to get the Area 51m because of my parents.

My desktop at the time crashed randomly, can't do college work on that one! So I decided on a desktop replacement laptop, I greatly needed the portablility. My parents OKd the decision and paid for the laptop (its not like they couldnt afford it either). I think it is justified since I really do not get anything for my birthday and Christmas since I left grade school.

I bought mine when i was 16 last sept. I knew i wanted to buy something big in the

future but didnt really know what so i started to save. So when the oppertunity to

buy this came around i knew i had to get it so i was able to pay for half and my

parents coved the other half. I got a job that summer and kept it throughout the

schoolyear and still have it, so i have payed my parents back in full and am now

enjoying my big bundle of joy.

I told my ho's that I wanted an Area 51m and told them to work extra hard. Leave no john unsatisfied, I said.

Why is a job out of the question? Too young? Too lazy?

My parents wanted to repaint my house, and they got an estimate for $6000, so I did it instead and they bought me the laptop. It wasn't easy... but it was SOOO worth it! *hugs lappy*

Im only 17, and didnt except any money from my parents for it. I just took the $2650 out of my savings, and sent AW a cashiers check.

That sounds like a good idea, my parents were thinking about painting the house. I love you, Mario.

Anywho, for those of you who've asked why i don't want to get a job, because i'm the biggest lazy ass ever. If I wanted to use energy to get a job, i'd use the energy to build a computer.

Trust me, it's hard and you have to know what you're doing, but in my case my parents got a good painted house, saved $2400, and I got a kick ass laptop. Oh yeah!
