So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.
As what I primarily do is writing and programming, having a good keyboard is critical for me, which is why a tablet alone can’t work for me, and...
I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...

One of the longest and most enduring brands in computers is Thinkpad. Originally developed by IBM in the USA, Thinkpad notebook computers are now...
I saw some posts earlier about notbook coolers for the CL56. I couldn't find any that would be wide enough to work with the 15.4" WXGA. ANy suggestions or recommendations?
The one I plan to get is made for an apple powerbook. However, the design doesn't use any fans. Other than that, haven't found any widescreen notebook coolers yet that has fans
Mine seemed to get pretty hot. I was watching a DVD and put in on my bed. An hour and a half into watching the movie, I moved the 8050. The spot where the notebook rested was pretty hot - as hot as clothes coming out of a dryer. That definitely does not sound like your experiences, does it? Did I block any vents on the underside - don't think so..
Thanks, laozx. Looks interesting but I haven't seen a single review anywhere on the web that quantifies how well this works. I don't mean to be an apple-basher but surely those guys want to buy things because it works not because it looks good, right?
laozx: Have you ordered it? I am way out in the East Coast and they don't have any resellers in my state, so I'd have to get it straight from them. It is fairly expensive so I wanted to see if you already bought it and had any opinions on its performance before I took the plunge..
i like the look of this cooler. i looked at the pictures in the gallery. i was wondering if there were any vents or holes on the part that the latop rests on? if there are no holes, how does air circulate under the laptop? or am i missing something.
Well, I called them up and talked to a person who said that using the ilap they were able to increase heat dissipation by 30%. On the Powerbook they ran the test, the fan hardly came on when using the ilap. I think it does help in heat dissipation - the question is how much?
Yea I haven't ordered the ilap, i have just been looking at them. I guess they say cause the way it's angled or whatever heat will dissipate from the back on up. All I really know about it, is what I read from their website.
