Fujitsu N5010 for $1400 out the door?

Hey everyone,

Just a quick question for everyone out there.

I have a friend that is willing to sell me his Fujitsu N5010 Notebook with 16.1 CLearview screewn, 3.0Ghz, 512MB, 60GB Hard drive and DVD+/-RW writer for $1400 out the door. He barely used the PC and it is in like Brand New Mint condition? Is this worth it?

Ive also been debating the new Toshiba M35 Special edition with TruBrite 15.4 Inch screen and 1.7 Dothan Centrino, or a Dell 8600/D800 notebook. Both of those options wil run me about $1900 for what I want.

Is Fujitsu a decent laptop, minus the AMAZING screen? Or am I setting myself up for trouble down the road?

Any and all help is truly appreciated!
Thanks!

i would buy that n5010 unless you're concerned about weight/size. I dunno...why is he selling? Is something wrong with the laptop?

Nothing Wrong...

Nothing Wrong at all with the Laptop, he said he needs a smaller laptop for school and doesnt want to lug it around.

So basically a $2000.00 Laptop for $1400.00.

I guess I could do worse, right?

Im just concerened about Fujitsu quality, I dont necessarily think Fujitsu when I think quality notebook.

Any other thoughts?

Buy it. There's a long thread on it in the reviews section.
