Nah, insult away . It's only a notebook. I just wanted to point out that ti's got a plastic lid and in light of that, it's about as durable as any other notebook that uses the same construction. Seeing's that your focus is on the HP ncXXXX line and the T series, I can see how the Fujitsu's build is several steps down .

I did not mean to insult your Fujitsu. In that I spent a total of 5 minutes with it at Fry's, and in that you have lived with it, I will assume that I made an incorrect snap judment of it. In that I do not like the kind of screen it has (like the Sony XBrite's), I had already blown it off for me. You obviously like it, and it is QUITE light indeed and it has a DVD burner (if you got that model) which is really great.
As for the nc6000, if you drop from 64MB to 32MB of video RAM, it drops the cost $50. Personally, I would get the 64MB, since you can't add it later, I am quite sure.
