Right... I am looking into getting a laptop and... I want to make sure its a reliable business.

So... is Hypersonic-pc a hoax or can they be trusted? Anyone had any bad experiences from them? Good?

well their resellerratings.com is pretty good. Very good, as opposed to ibuypower, or alienware even... Plus as you can see here they have been in business since '96, so they arent goin anywhere anytime soon. My CX5 is ready to ship now, 8 full days (or 5 business) ahead of time . Many people here have purchased and liked a lot, plus their warranty is second to none, if its broken, they overnite back to them, fix it, overnite it back to you, free, all of it... pretty hard to beat huh?

Sounds pretty good... only I live in Sweden. Where is their "repair shop" located? Cause there is no way they could make it... in 2 days? Or am I wrong?

hmmm... 2 days? maybe... Its in NY, so maybe... give em a call, 1800-520-0498, they dont bite

Not sure about the workshop, but I too would assume it is in Great Neck, NY or nearabouts that area.

As for whether they are a hoax or not, there are several (and growing) Hypersonic owners on this message board, to include myself. Very happy with the product and service that I have received. The only downside that normally hear about is the delivery time.

Good luck on your choices.

I got a pc from them last year. Excelletn work, take forever to ship, they give you the run around.

I would order a lappy from them but i spent too much on the PC

I purchased a CX5 in June from Hypersonic and couldn't be happier. It was ready to go right out of the box for this newb. It shipped only a day later than projected. Any time I called with inane questions they gave me detailed answeres.

I highly recommend them and I was suspect at first too.

Sounds fair... I mailed some questions to them regarding me being a native swede and them being the hope of freedom and democracy in a darker world.

If they give the right answers... well... we are home free. (and thats just an expression this time).

Always remember "A little pain never killed anyone... You know what I mean." Lock, stock and three smoking barrels

genrally hypersonic doesn't tend to respond to email querys unless you've bought something from them. i'v sent them many emails with questions but they've only resonded to a couple. i would just suggest you call them, they've been very friendly and informative on the phone with me.

yeah, and if phone charge is way too much (as i would assume) try a phonecard maybe....

I agree- There e-mail response time is bad- ANY questions that I made were on the phone =no problems. I had one problem after the sale on a Sunday I thought they were closed. I sent a e-mail explaining the issue & had a response and a fix within 5 min's later. That's pretty good

Swedish customs

Okay, I just got off the line from Swedish customs (them I can afford to call).

So, apparently,

"hypersonic-pc price" x 1.25 = my price after customs and vat

and that pretty much sucks. so.

[swedish customs]

And I won´t be getting an american computer... When I grow up (oh wait, I have)... well when I finish studying, I am moving to the us...

If anyone´s interested, it is about 84 71 30 00 00 merchandise
