They just did this Mobile Makeover thing in LAPTOP magazine...

They gave the guy an X300 to replace his old 8lb Dell. Looks pretty nice.. but I'd prefer a little more power.

Well, I was thinking bad about Dell, though a priori. However, I have change my mind after I saw Latitude X1 (on the picture, still ).

Yep, there is a huge difference in quality between the Inspiron and the Latitude series.

The former, I would need triple warranty to feel safe enough to even take it out of the packing box; the latter, I wouldn't think twice about buying if they come at a nice price.

That was the first good story about Dell that I've heard with a negative twist. It got me laughing. I don't agree with you at all, but the way you told the story was creative. It's kind of like my feelings about Corvettes. So nice, yet when you're close up, you can see that it was made by Chevy. Mustangs and GTs are the same way. So are Vipers.
