Attention Sentia 14" orders

It seems that they are running out of the 14" and they are not in stock. I just got off the phone with AW and they tried to get me to take the 12" notebook. Seems there was a part out of stock and he put it on rush order. If it's going to be longer than 2 more weeks I am just going to cancel my order and buy a damn dell of all things.
You would think for what they charge for these things that they would get their finger out of their butts and adverstie what they have.

So my advice is to call and check and make sure you are getting what you ordered.

I called today too to ask about my order status and they didn't mention anything about taking a 12" notebook instead, so I'm assuming I'm still getting the 14". If I don't...

They told me that my Sentia should ship in about 3 days, so I should get a tracking number on Monday. Then I must deal with Fedex.

If I don't get my Sentia next week I swear to God I'm going to cancel. I've been looking at a Falcon Fragbook anyway. Kinda wished I had another $1000 so I can get one of those. Oh well... I guess I can start saving some money in college for that.

in my earlier conversation the nice man Joe asked sales if i was in fact getting the 14" and he said that they were out of stock or backordered of whatever crap they wanna call it, he didnt try to sell me the 12.1" he was a good guy, figured everything out for me. And if in fact they do try to give me a 12.1 i will probably go with something else

They are supposed to call or email me or something about it soon as it gets cleared up. I tell ya though it's getting on my nerves. I mean you wouldn't order something if you didnt want it quick. I knew going in that the black would take 2 to 3 extra weeks to get. I said OK I can live with that. If I had known it was going to turn into this much of a wait I would just gotten the Green and 60 gig hard drive and had it in 7 days.

Josh was very nice on the phone. I got my mom to talk to him since I stutter and I was a little ill.

Hi guys I'm new here so this is my first reply. Well i ordered mine on 6/23 just a few days before they reconfigured the sentia and i new something like this might happen. When i first called in my order the lady forgot to add some programs and the price was wrong. So i then called in again and the guy i talked to said he had everything straitened out. So, im hoping hes right.
Anyways i really like the site, you can pretty much find out anything you want!
Oh and i went with stealth black. YEAH BABY

I just got an email from Alienware. The part that is out of stock is the black case. 1 to 2 weeks more to wait.

same story with the silver, dunno when ill get mine though, they said 3 weeks more
just signed up for the orderstatus, didnt work the 2 other times i tried it

If it takes longer than 2 weeks I am going to cancel my order. Nice as they are I ordered a laptop because I want a laptop. I didnt want one in 2 to 3 months.

I ordered the first Saturday in June. They told me when I ordered that the Black case and 40 gig hard drive was limtied avaliablty items and they would be in in 2 weeks.

As of yesterday, The 14"s are out of stock and they Alienware has no idea of when they will get any in. So I have cancelled my order. My AW dream is just that a dream.

codemonkey.......im half tempted to do that also.....but im just going to try and wait it out. atleast you would ahve only waited about 2 extra weeks, i have to wait 4 weeks. HEHE im going to steal your record of waiting s.s. mario!!!!

im with you on it, im just going to try to wait it out, nothing really catches my eye right now, just wonderig what codemonkey will resort to, the dell
600m looks pretty similar, but hell its a dell

most dell's centrino's come with 32mb cards or 32 mb intergrated graphics. So i bet codemonkey might think about getting a sager or maybe if he can find some extra greens go for a fragbook TL

the fragbook is nice, but 1200 over what i paid for the AW
