CL56 in Canada?

Thread Starter
I have been lurking around these forums for the past few months and have been looking at many different laptops.

Does anybody know where to buy the CL56 in Canada? I would prefer to purchase from an online shop.

Thanks

Yea theres a thread that I started concerning the same topic CL56 In Canada. The 3 stores that allow u to configure on the spot is http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...sp?Base=991158, http://www.shoprbc.com/ca/shop/quote.php and http://www.ttxmonitor.com/ (provides discount if u are in university)

hey originally i said hte tigerdirect was a great price.. then i found out it doesn't have sxga so rbc is way better

unless ttxmonitor's uni discount is better on my config.. where do you find that out? thanks

I did a quick configure on TTX, and the CL56 config I had been looking at at RBC cost 500$ more at TTX.

Which one is the 3 year plan? Premium? So 2 years = Pro and 1 year = standard?

For 2.7K CDN thats a great laptop ur getting. I'm basically getting the same except less ram (512) and 5400rpm 60gb.

Has anyone purchased a CL56 from one of the resellers in Canada? How did it turn out i.e. service, product quality, turnaround time? Any reseller recommendations based on experienced purchase of the CL56?
i would suggest buy local if you live in any of those cities, it's much easier. if not, check pricenetwork.ca for reviews.
i would suggest the same... it would save u massive amounts of time to get things fixed/replaced/shipped
post #14 of 39
like my keyboard lol..i should call them today and ask if it is in.

So get an external enclosure and put a desktop DVD burner in it. You don't need to burn DVDs on the road, and you'll get a much faster, cheaper burner if you buy a desktop burner.

You can get USB2 and Firewire enclosures.
