My 8887 is dead

This is getting frustrating now. I just sent the 8887 to sager to fix the screen issue and replaced the inverter. Now the whole thing is dead. First the screen went white. No buttons work. Cannot even shut it off. I removed the battery to power down. When I put it back... NOTHING !

Is there anything that can be done ?

What was wrong with the screen when you sent it to Sager?

What happens when you try to boot?

Im thinking that is the same problem that Im having. Very faint picture on the screen. Hooked up a second monitor. Second monitor works fine. Im guessing an inverter. What did sager charge you for the repair and how long did it take. Im thinking that I might just buy an inverter and do the swap myself. Pretty easy job actually.

I think that if you try it you will have to change your name to "pisse'd off". It isn't that easy to change.

I pulled it out today to look at it. Not too tough. Any how what do you think? Know where I could get a new one if I need to??
