Atheros Super G

I have a Toshiba p15-s409 which has an Atheros 802.11g wireless card. Can this card handle atheros's super G protocol, ie with a driver/firmware upgrade.

I am currently looking for a wireless router to buy and if my laptop can support super G i will get a router that supports it aswell.

Hi Ya Mole! I saw you on the Toshiba forum. The answer you got there was correct. Your card is not up gradable. Just stay with G for now. Unless you transfer files between computers (peer to peer), the extra speed will be for naught. If you still don't like this answer, go to the wireless pros at http://forums.wi-fiplanet.com/, and try again.
