all right, here goes.
download a boot cd image. i prefer http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/
because it has quite a few ultilities. download that and burn the iso onto a cd. put the bios update files into an easy to reach directory. insert your boot cd then restart.
when the cd boots, select DOS boot disks (F5) and then select freedos. you should be in drive r:\ but your boot cd is now mounted as drive x:\ so type in "cdd x:\dosapps\ntfsdos" without the quotes of course. then just type in "ntfsdos" and it should execute, mounting your hdd to drive D:\
so type in "cdd D:\ then wherever you put the bios files" type in the filename of the .bat file. this should update your bios and restart automatically. congrats, you are done!
