is included XP bootable??

Hi ppl,

Yes I have another problem unfortunately. I have installed XP pro on my desktop and its a pirate copy so I do not know if its the reason my that and my modem do not work, some problem lsass.exe - its not the virus, bc it happens only after i install the driver for my modem. On my previous older PII toshiba, the same happened when I installed my logitech webcam 4000 (big known problem that was not solved for months) , the pc was never the same again after that though.

Anyways I wanted to know how to install XP home on top of XP Pro. I can reinstall over it bec XP home cannot overwrite XP Pro. Also my dell provided CD does not seem to boot, when I put in the XP pro after the restart there is something that says press any key to boot from cd, but nothing like it when I restart with XP home. Anyone got any ideas?

When you put in the Home CD and reboot, press F12. This takes you to the one-time-boot screen. From here select the CD and you should be off and running.
