Booting from USB?

Thread Starter
I have a 5670. I also have an external USB hdd. I want to boot another OS from this external drive but there doesn't seem to be an option in the bios setup that allows booting from USB. So I guess I am asking if it is possible to boot from USB or if there is a bios update that allows this.

Also, I suppose this is more of a Linux question, if I was to install Linux on my external drive, would it be possible to boot from usb with a boot disk? I can't seem to find any info. Everything that talks about booting from USB just says to enable it in the bios.

Thanks.

The only device you're going to be able to boot from on a 5670 is a USB floppy drive. Nothing else.
