what really is this problem with the cl56 screen?
are you sure? Not doubting you really, i just thought it was still more.
Some people do not like the viewing angles of the CL56. I am on one now. It's not an issue at all, for me. If you use your notebook for a presentation type device or watch movies on it with all your friends it might not be the best (but we have TVs for that). Many laptops in the past have irritated me due to bad viewing angles. This one is much better than those one, and I have never had a problem or been bothered by the viewing angles. I guess some people are pickier or just simply like wider angles to view at. I prefer standard aspect ratio screens as well (as opposed to widescreen), so that is why I went with the CL56. Rincewind has posted pics of this notebook screen, and you can see how it looks at angles, etc. there. I, for one, don't find it to be a huge issue at all, though.
