Few quick questions on battery life...

Hello everyone,
I've read the review for the 8886 and it said that the battery life of an 8886 was about 1:56 when playing a DVD. I'd like to know more about how long this battery can last.
I don't really need exact numbers, but by experience, how long would the battery last in these situations:

-Idleing
-Word Processing (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
-Extreme webbrowsing (20-30 browser windows)
-Watching TV with the TV-tuner
-Playing UT3

How long would a 5660 fare under these conditions?

You mention both the 8886 and the 5660... I just wanted to point out that the 5660 has a dual battery option and the 8886 has a higher capacity battery (in case you didn't know). Also, just for clarification, did you want numbers on both? I'm assuming that there are members that have battery times for each system. That's the sweetness with these forums :-)

Yeah, should have made that clearer...
I know that the 8886 has a bigger battery, and the 5660 has two batteries. Does anyone have the battery times for those situations with the 8886, and the 5660 with both batteries?

I got 1:10 with a single battery doing general work with my 5660, so its probably just over 2 hours, but it seems to be the same regardless as
I played Unreal Tournament for 45 mins and had 56% battery life left.

I get around two hours on my 8886 doing general browsing, typing, etc. The battery actually lasts longer now that I've full charged/discharged it three or four times.

You might also consider (if battery time is highly important to you) the external batteries that people talked about on the forums here a while back. Here's the link to that thread:

I wish that the interface was the same between the 5660 and the 8886, cuz then modules could be swapped and theoretically you could have a dual batt on the 8886 as well (which, IMO would be more worth it since it's a 5 spindle system and has an open bay if you have an optical drive and a disk drive only, lol, which is all you need generally). Has anyone had experience with a spare battery for the 8886? It's just shutting down and swapping batteries I'm assuming.
