RAM temp question

How high a temp can RAM handle? I played C&C generals the other day and it was running at 61c, very very hot. Is this normal?

thats a fine temp for games. as its been said before, the ram does not have any source of heat disapation like heatsinks or fans, and its in a closed environment. Which makes it quite hot.

generals is sooo much fun. just started using China, and black lotus is great.

Exactly, that's a perfectly reasonable temp for the RAM.

I got my two sticks of 512 up to 80*C i was worried there was damage, but after running a couple mem test I still get 0 errors. =)
