i think it can also be found as the evesham x5, can anybody tell me if they know about the battery times on this model, it only goes up to a 6 cell i think.

about 3 hours apparently. i need to choose between this and the F/s Amilo A1630 (3.4GHz Athlon 64, 512MB RAM, 80GB 4200rpm hard disk, mobility radeon 9700 with 128MB dedicated)

If i get the 8050 it'll probably be from Rockdirect as i spoke to them on the phone and they're the only ones who will check your system for dead pixels before it leaves and will rpolly be willing to take it back if it somehow arrives with dead pixels.
