Am I missing something? Capturing video with supplied S-Video vs Dazzle or others

There have been several suggestions in the past for the best method to capture video to their Sager. If you have an 8887 with S-Video in like I do, why would you need/want to go with something like a Dazzle Hollywood DV-Bridge? Is it a support issue? Right now it doesn't appear as though too many products support the drivers used by Sager for S-Video in.

Well, I have an 8880 and there is a terrible sound to video sync issue when using the included TV card. I have not tried Dazzle so am not sure about whether it has the same problem or not.
