Gaming during class

Anyone know of a game you can play during class, I guess in a window, so that you could also have somewhat quick access to notes? I've been stuck playing solitaire and hearts during class

Better mouse oriented simple games that you can play during class?

turn-based strategy games would probably be optimal in case you need to quickly look up to avoid being caught

BF1942 matches went well in our classes (WIFI is quite makes me happy)

Yeah I was thinking more along the lines of turn based strategies, as they wouldn't require THAT much attention... FPS need you to stare at the screen and really not be able to multitask at all...

How about registering for a more challenging course...

no that defeats the purpose of playing games in class man

Snood

Snood sucks IMO. If you want a game like Snood, get Bubble Bobble. All you need is MAME!

well many games have settings you can alter that will make the game freeze when it isnt the active window, meaning alt tab will pause your game. im not sure what current games allow this but i know most video game emulators do.

current fullscreen games do this, but it'll take a while before the screen clears (maybe a second or two) because of the processing power involved.

Pinball maybe?

Windowed mode Quake 3 based games? UT 2k3/2k4 can do this I think also..

yeah i agree...take more challenging classes

if I were slacking off in class, I'd fire up the complete ultima 7 using the exult front end. Great rpg, pace is as fast as you want to play it because its open ended.

Must be nice to be able to slack off and play games in class...

No man. Not laptop but Ti-83 games are king. Once youv'e played competitive tetris HL2 is no longer top dog.

Rogue-likes are fairly simple for the in-class gamer as well

I agree tetris is damn intense. Im buying a gameboy pocket on ebay so a friend and i can have multiplayer tetris battles. So damn good....
