Wow. It may be released, but I don't think anybody is going to get one right away. Damn if there weren't build times, testing, and slow shipping (1-5 days depending on shipping method) you may see it the 15th. But since there are i would think that nobody would have one until the 18th. mine isn't coming until after the 20th. but luckly i have two games to play to waste time. Farcry and Tales of Symphonia. FarCry will also be perfect to test out the new laptop.

It is!!!! we must sacrifice bananas to the sager gods!!!


the 4750 has the same exact screen as the 8790, no need to speculate. I might crack under the pressure but I'm gonna wait for the reviews too, just to see what configuration would be best. don't wanna hafta send it back over something trivial.

It's so sleek and sturdy looking. you can definitely see that the ctrl key is on the left like it should be. the keyboard looks really nice, dammit I'm gonna go insane waiting for it.

it doesn't really look like the 4780/90 chasis though. It looks almost exactly like the 8790 but with a dark silver trim and its slimmer. 1.4" i think. When are adam's benchmarks going to be posted?

Am I the only one to notice that Sager's picture of the unit has the all black keyboard trimming while PCT's and Powernotebook's have a silver trim around the edges. The all-black looks better than the silver trim.

maybe it's shiny black and the lighting makes it look silver. it seems weird that they would have different trim.

aww man, i think it is just the lighting. i was hoping it would actually be the dark trim like in the sager picture. looks like both are the same though .

edit: wait a minute. look at the vents on the front (to the right). those pictures aren't even the same chassis .

also notice the hinges look different and it even looks like the ctrl key is in the wrong spot on the pctorque site . i think/hope pctorque has the wrong image.

i'm having trouble justifying spending $400 more on the 4750 than a UN25K (aka abs mayhem g3) or cl56 from internetishop/ibuypower... i know it's dumb but when the entire technology that it is based on (other than the screen, keyboard, touchpad, all other miscellaneous built in devices maybe) is going to be completely left behind in 6-12 months. i think i need psychological help.
