8790 popping/skipping noises

First of all, I've had my 8790 for about a week now, and I absolutely love it. I've been searching all over for problems with it just to make sure mine is perfect. No dead pixels or any video issues However, the one problem that I am having deals with the sound coming from the notebook. I know there were a lot of issues regarding hissing and electrical interference, but mine seems to be free from that. I had it happen on my desktop and what's happening here sounds nothing like that. In fact, the problem I'm having doesn't make a difference if I move any windows around or if the HD is active. Anyway, what's happening is that whenever something is playing that uses sound, once in a while there is a slight pause or pop in the music/game/dvd/etc like the machine is lagging. If it is video or a game, they don't really seem to lag with it so it seems isolated to the sound. Does anyone know of anything I could do to fix this? I've tried changing all of my sound settings and nothing works. Are there newer drivers out for the audio?

Btw, this happens on the internal speakers and also externals/headphones if I have them in.

Thanks!

Go to the realtek site and download the latest AC '97 codecs. They will probably do the trick.
