Yes

I will take.

hmm... I object. Not to be a wet blanket, but I think this thread should stay true to it's topic, even if it means sacrificing the title of longest thread ever. I am really interested in the subject, and would hate to have to unsubscribe just to prevent a deluge of emails from post-padders. Anyway... that's my 2 cents... and hey... I guess I just did a little padding myself.. ::sigh:: oh well...

sigh . . . point well taken, silverleaf
no more fillers

I was informed Sager's version would go into production in mid-to-late August. I'm hoping for more "mid" and less "late".

well for some reason voodoo is offering the model already. m:380. very expensive. that would mean that others will be soon to follow.
I just noticed that Voodoo is selling the 12 cell battery with their systems, or at least it allows you to add it in their configurator. So, I'd say that is a pretty good indication that the 12 cell batteries should be available pretty quickly. Since those lines were greyed out on the spec sheet, I had been worried they were just future plans.

It has a 4 in 1 card reader as well. an 4 built in speakers. the first 3760 had rather bad sound, i hope this is resolved in the upgrade.

I'm game.. What are we talking about? 3760, or Jesus?
Isn't the Hypersonic CX6, found at http://www.hypersonic-pc.com/2001/systems-mobile.htm, basically what is being talked about? I'm guessing it is since Eurocom is supposed to be releasing it now and Hypersonic's TOT on it is like 3 weeks.

nope. the cx6 is a mitac if i remember correctly.
After checking the brochure on the Clevo site for the M37EW and comparing the specs (including size, weight, LED placement -in photos) to the CX6 I am inclined to think these are different machines.
(Also, when a manufacture integrates an 8X AGP, resellers tend to mention it).
I was just checking Mitac's website and haven't actually seen the model in question for the CX6. That might be the difference considering the price I see for the hypersonic one is much lower than I would expect.
You new guys really need to go over to the Notebook General section and read up, and I say that as a result of seeing you guys thinking that the Mitac might be a Sager... or that the Hypersonic might be one..... just a suggestion though.

I think of god as...oh wait, my mistake.

i think eurocom may be offering this laptop, but you probably still can't get it till it ships in august.
Eurocom is offering it already on their site but who knows when it will end up shipping. And the price for what I want on the laptop is ~3300. That's way more than I want to pay but I think all of their prices are high.
