I have no problem with Falcon Northwest. I have known some Falcon Northwest owners and they have all been happy with the product. My biggest issue with Falcon is that they don't offer much of a selection of notebooks.

I don't care for Voodoo PC, for a couple of reasons. I don't get the feeling from their website that they take quality control and customer service very seriously. I haven't dealt with them myself, but some of the stories there are pretty bad. I think that given that, there is no way to justify the inflated pricing. I also don't care for ElP, who, as I mentioned earlier, has been caught in at least one lie about one of his products. Also, ElP has a tendency to knock his competitors. I hate that. Sell your product on its own merits. I believe that the only reason sales people knock other peoples products is that they know those products are better than their own.

One thing I will say about this type of operation, be it Falcon, Voodoo, Hypersonic, Savrow, etc. I think its ridiculous to complain that it takes a while to get a computer from them. The system is being custom built to your needs, and that takes time. While I think it would be nice if they would keep some kind of inventory around, they all seem to think that there isn't a business case for this.

Did i say i was complaining about waiting for my gf's voodoo, i dont think i did. I think these horror stories are just plain bad luck. I will probably buy from PCT but man those paint jobs on those voodoos and falcons are just phenomenal, but definitely not worth 1000+ in comparisons.

....None of this small reviews i want the full blown, too long, too wordy review hehe.

I don't think so. Actually SAGERs don't work with MCE and a whole lot of others (Desktop as well as laptops).

Like 2 ships passing in the night, the UPS 747 carrying my 3790 to me will likely brush past the DC-10 hauling my left testis to Luke somewhere over Missouri this weekend.
Sigh. The romance of it all.

HOLY CRAP, I CAN HARDLY WAIT!

Hey, G:

Only about 1500 more posts to go, then my prediction will come true.
BTW, I agree with whomever posted (on a different thread, mind you) that you should become a moderator for the Sager boards.

My 2 cents.
Matt
