i have found several sites where u can order the 3790 in germany:

www.cyber-system.de (cheapest)
www.tronic5.de
www.diablo-computer.de (will offer it soon)
www.bullman.de (quite expensive)

CYBERBOOK CL-3711 15.4" WSXGA+ Centrino Grundsystem + mit 60GB HDD (7200rpm)
+ mit 1024MB DDR333 RAM (2 Modules)
+ mit Intel Pentium-M Centrino 1700Mhz (Dothan, 2MB Cache)
+ mit DVD±RW (24xCD/8xDVD/16xCD-R/10xCD-RW/4xDVD±R/2xDVD±RW)
+ WLAN Intel 802.11b/g / 54MBit (intern, MiniPCI)
+ without Webcam
+ mit MS Windows XP Home OEM Recovery dt.
+ Standart-Garantie
Euro 1.881,00

that's what i got from www.cyber-system.de the price is considerably more expensive than the cl56 but i think it's absolutely ok if the display can compete with the dell's

unfortunately no blue display cover :-(

Dammit...seems the cash option slows things down a bit. I ordered almost as soon as the configurator was available, but haven't gotten a tracking number either.

Maybe I should've used my discount to upgrade shipping? Arghhhhh
post #552 of 714
Yeah I paid echeck and my check just cleared today. Now I gotta wait for a #.
I start school on the 19th.

Yeah, I need to learn how to use it. I've got the Adobe Creative Suite, but have never really learned any of the programs. I need to make me a nice little avatar and logo.

Do you think that the storm in FL is going to cause a lot of delays?
i got my tracking #~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woo hoo~! but i live in california so i've gotta wait. man... this means they are shipping my laptop from here INTO a hurricane, and then back again. crazy, these times we're living in. I hope that storm calms down before the 17th when my baby's arriving in the great state o' FL. It's cloudless and sunny here.

so, what was the legendary longest ever thread that this one is trying to beat?
