dum dum dum...

i can finally proclaim the time to order for me has arrived...
my journey went from looking at Acer 2025WLMi to Asus M6BNe to Clevo M37EW (Sager NP3790, yaya)...
has 2 months gone by slow or wut... i hope i can adjust to teh WUXGA screen

No seriously I am. I've sort of just lurked here for the past 2 weeks, not saying much, but I boiled over. It's not a pretty sight. My coworkers are trying to pry me from the computer. My Dell 5000e is down. Backlight or inverter or something is busted. It's in 37.5 peices on my desk right now. Yep, I never disassembled a computer before. Now am realizing the trickier part is getting it back together.

I just moved into a new apt. and I don't have cable or internet--not that it matters cause my dell is down. I need a new laptop. My thesis is due in 40 days and I have only my lab computers. I've tried to remain calm and out of the fray, but I'm going berserk....I need to decide!! Now today someone just downloaded some sort of mal-ware on this comptuer and adult popups and virus checks are popping up all over the place not to mention my homepage was hijacked....typical.

I need to up the dose on my meds. seriosly. i lost it,

McKnight I'm in the same situation as you. But I have a desktop at home so if need be I can type papers and crap on that. But I highly doubt we'll get any *real* work until a few days into the semester so yeah don't rush it, its worth the wait.

I just read Luke's email about the 3790 being backordered and won't be shipping till next week. So yeah... dont rush it. It's a good thing or else it wouldn't be backordered.

I think a similar thing happened when the 4750 was released. Believe me its worth the wait. I am sure your college has computers to use until then. That's how I got through my freshman year.

What can I say, G? I'm a Renaissance man in the truest sense of the word. Truth be told, I figured I might as well go into Urology seeing as how I've made a living off of urinal wafers.

Wtf

so.. I got a total of 2 hours of sleep last night... why? Cuz I was up till 4 reading some guy named construct tell us he got his 3790 and I waited for the pictures... I waited for the reviews... the point is I stayed up............................................ I'm not crazy, but I am going to a body fair today in Taiwan where they display cut up body parts.. and I'm very excited to see what kind of sick f*** would do something like this...
Maybe I am just overly tired but I don't feel that we, and I mean we, i mean the less fortunate ones who don't currently own a 3790, are being treated well enough on these forums because we haven't been presented with a good review yet!!!

I AM JUST LIKE THAT MATT GUY.. I AM GOING NUTS, EXCEPT MY CLASSES DON'T START TILL SEPT 7 AND I HAVE TILL SEPT 1 FOR MY LAPTOP TO ARRIVE IN CALIFORNIA BEFORE I LEAVE FOR CANANDA...

Does anyone even take me seriously when i use the yellow font??

we all are on the edge of our seats for them. if you could contact construct and tell him that he will be attacked by the sager forum if he doesn't get that review up i'm sure it will speed up the progress.
