So.....Bored.....Without DOOM III. I have to wait till the morning of the 4th .

These are the longest days of my life, I'm so bored without doom iii, even though I have so many other great games.

How are you all curing your bordom/hype/waiting?

As for me, I'm not, I'm just waiting.

I thought I'd revisit this thread now that Doom 3 is shipping. So, I ask, once more...

No.......I'm not, I haven't gotten over the fear of how good or bad my comp will run it.

And I know half life isn't usually scary, but it is when: Your in a duct, and all of a sudden you can't move, so you turn on your flashlight to find a head crab jumping at you. It happend to me earlier.

I've been playing Doom 3 for a couple of days. I get a little slowdown sometimes with settings on High. I tried playing it on Ultra, but it was just too choppy. I'm playing it on the desktop in my sig, so you can draw your own conclusions on how it will run on your computer.
