compaq r3000z or hp zv5000z?

So, I'm pretty much decided on one or the other, due to tight budgets. For the same specs, the HP is about $25 more. Which one should I buy? Which case looks cooler and/or more functional? FYI, the hp comes with harmon kardon speakers where as the compaq comes with jbl speakers. I'm not sure which is better at notebooks, but I know that harmon kardon is usually better at real speakers. Please give any opinions?

They are pretty much identical in specs. The HK Speakers are a little bit better, but both sets of speakers are amazing for laptop speakers. Buy the compaq and get a wireless mouse with the $25 you saved

they are the same lappy. i didn't hear the H/K speakers on the HP (though i have H/K speakers on my desktop and i love em) though I did play around with the 3000z at BB and tested the JBL Pro. They are the same company, so the speakers are nearly the same. I preffer the Compaq to the HP (even considered to buy it at one time). You won't go wrong with either one but I would say go for the Paq, and buy a mouse!
