Help meh...

Hey all,

I recently did a clean install on my 8890, and for some reason, the only way to get my DVD player to work without crashing my system, is to use the ATI drivers from the sager website.

However, I get considerable more framerates with the Omegas (as usual), but the only way to get the DVD player from freezing is to uninstall the Omegas, and go with the ones from Sager's website.

Anyone know how I could fix this, to have the DVD player work with the latest Omegas?

ati 4.6 and 4.7 drivers (same as Omegas) have known DVD playback issues. try the 4.5 drivers I bet they will work

You may have some issues with some games, not sure why. EA's Nascar Thunder 2004 would not run with the Omega 4.5 equiv drivers. Went Back to Sager provided drivers everything worked. Just not sure why.
