ABS vs Hypersonic PC

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I'm trying to choose which company to buy from. I'm looking at the Mayhem G2 and the CX6 which use the same chasis. Configured with the 1.7ghz, 1gigram, 60gig 7200rpm hd, and no dead pixel policies the mayhem comes out to 2035 while the hypersonic comes out to 2178. I'm from Texas so their N2 tech support deal won't be useful for me. Maybe I can get some incentive such as free 2nd day shipping if I talk to the sales rep. I've known about hypersonic for a long time while Ive only heard about ABS recently. Which company would you guys purchase from?

Personally I'd go with Hypersonic. I haven't hear anything bad about them. For ABS, I've heard that the customer service is lacking. Go witht he CX6 .

I would go with Abs better prices and imo better service from what i collected.

I's go ABS. I have a desktop from them from like 7 years ago and it is still goin strong; never had a problem. And ABS service top notch. Lifetime service and support. There's only been a few cases where people have just been plain unlucky and had a bad experiance. So I say ABS all the way.

re hyper or abs

Hypersonic have very long build times, other than that service seems top notch, very eager to please.

well it depends what you want, i think all of abs maham notebooks are widescreen, if thats what you want, they are pretty cheap and seem to have decent service. if you want your lappy painted thou i would go for hypersonic.

i may get an mayhem g2 or an acer 2025. im not considering the mayhem more due to the fact i can buy directly from them and get their support.

It all depends on if you live in California or not. If you do, you will get sales tax when you buy an abs (about +/- $200 more), since they are located in Whittier, Ca. Hypersonic on the otherhand, is in NY, so you don't have to pay sales tax.
