I think we have a winner here folks. Same hinge design and button config on front face...gotta be the Epson.

I don't think the notebook looks nice. It has a sort of elegance and sophistication about unlike the current pentium based system that says college kid. Anyway what the hell do I know about taste, I brought the Insprion XPS, which only a mother could love.

Yup, it looks like Epson Direct:

Epson

Alienware

This laptop looks like a laptop, so the looks are ok for me.

Instead of the exterior, I'm interested in what's under the hood.

I don't think it looks to bad. I wish there were more pictures of it.

So, I will preface this by saying that this is simply a guess along with all everything else about PCI-E. But, it seems logical that this is the case they will be using for atleast the AMD based systems with PCI-E. Why would they introduce a new case and then replace it with in a few months with something new when they release PCI-E laptops? Just thought I would throw that out there for everyone to think about.

Keep in mind... this is an Aurora-m, not an Area-51m. Maybe the third revision of the A51m will satisfy all of you and we just have not seen it yet. Patience is a virtue
If I owned a bunch of swamp land in Florida but made the outside look sexy/cool would you still buy it?
IT'S WHATS ON THE INSIDE THAT COUNTS... just like size does not matter Where's Darth when I need him?

they need to paint those

AW doesn't make the chassis', they just pick an ODM that offers the features that they want to offer, and then mod the case to look like they want.
I know they dont make the chassis, I am just thinking this is the one they might be using for a while rather than switch to a different one in a couple months. For the Aurora atleast.
Personally I think the case looks ok... apart from the black rubber grips.

Looks like the Sentia model because it has no S-video or VGA out.

from what i have seen, there aren't really AMD desktop PCI-express boards out yet, so why would you tihnk there would be mobile boards? Intel who was one of the front runners for PCI-e hasn't gotten its mobile PCI-e board out the door either.

This thing does look alittle ugly, and I noticed it said nothing about upgradable graphics. Why would you pick that over a 51m that has upgradable graphics?
