Replacing S150 hard drive

Thanks for the pics. Since my Sony warranty is up and the extended warranty didn't care, I took the plunge and followed the photos to disassemble the laptop. I purchased the Hitachi Travelstar 100g hard drive kit. The kit came with an external enclosure and EZGIG II imaging software. After installing the new drive in the enclosure and following the directions, it was easy enough to image the new drive by copying the old partitions to the new drive. Then came the fun part. No wonder Sony does not advise upgrading the drives. Anyway, the posted pics permitted me to install the drive with no problems. Too bad I can't upgrade the 32 meg video to 64. The 5400 RPM drive did noticably increase the boot and operating speed as well as it is much quiter than the OEM 60 gig drive. Thanks

Compatible hard drive interface

So, I need to replace the HD on my S150. I've been shopping around and am a bit worried about getting the right interface for it. According to the specs, it says UltraATA, what is that exactly? I've seen ATA5, ATA6, and ATA100.

Can someone please tell me what formats are compatible with my S150? (and any recommendation for a specific HD would be welcome!)

Thx.
