Who holds the record?

Who owns the DREADED ORB of DESPAIR? Thats what I'm calling the award for who waited the longest for their machine from time of payment. I see that some of you have waited for credit from AW, but that time dont count. From the time of FULL PAYMENT until the day your machine is RECEIVED..........

For me its been 43 days and waiting............ can anyone beat it?

Not like anyone wants this record, but lets give props to he/she who deserves it.

I think I share the record for shortest time along with one or two other people. 6 days in total.

I waited 43 days also but alienware just shipped my laptop. I'm supposed to get it on Thursday... which makes it 45 days total. I never knew I could wait that long for a laptop. It better be the best damn laptop I've ever used!

With so much BUILD TIME I expect it to be flawless. There would be no excuse for chipped paint, missing plug, broken disk or anything like that.

dead scott.....i though so too (even though i didnt wait too long). I got a faulty motherboard and i shipped my sentia in...i may return it.

I think it was 59days for me!! (got it yesterday, it wasnt AW fault manily dumb spanish people running banks.)

Belive me the wait is worth it!!!

200 point inspection and a faulty mob??? Thats scary........

Cant count the bank stuff........59 days...how long after payment?

Where do you want the starting point to be? and ill say. but if u count after 100% sent i was already like phase 5. So about 1week to build it and 1week to deleiver

From time of FULL PAYMENT until time you RECEIVE it, just like in the first post.

AW started building your machine without being paid in full?
If so I guess it would be from phase 3 until you received it. Now Im confused, I just dont think we should count financing time...

Ordered on June 16th received it july 20th so counting the day i ordered it (CC payment) and the day i recieved it since i didnt get it till 5pm on the 20th. thats what 35 days?
But trust me when i say its worth the wait. i know it can drive you one step from insanity waiting and all but i was telling another member the other day i have owned 6 other laptops in the past and nothing i mean nothing compares to the excitement of getting your AW and seeing it for the first time. I use to think some of these people on here need to get out more they way they talk about there system. well i totally understand now. Im now one of them...one of the family. The first thing i siad to myself is that i havent seen a picture that does this thing justice. But mine is green and green is the best color. J/K all the colors are the best.....to however its owner is.

I think i will get the 2nd longest wait since they gave me 6 weeks from today since i changed my vid card from X800XT to 6800 Ultra. SO starting from July 2nd up until now is 23 days plus 6 weeks which is 65 days plus 1 week build and 1 week ship which is 79 days. 79 days estimated time So 1st week of September is when i'm getting my rig.

You switched to the 6800? I would have stayed with the X800 just to get it a month and a half sooner. Still supposed to get mine 18 Aug.
Website still has Phase 3 - hope AW gets a big unexpected shipment of X800's.

AW said that they could get big shipments of 6800 Ultra and X800XT PE due to high demand. It could be in 2 weeks. They are just saying 6 weeks so we won't keep our hopes up. As long as we have priority then it should be no problem.

50 days and counting!!!!!!!!! If fedex shows up on the ETA date it will be 51! Let me tell you, its been a LONG DARN 50 days. I tried to act like it didn't bother me, but my wife says she could tell. I arranged to be home all day Tuesday. Like I would be any good anyways...hehehe.
