yea, they said they are giving me 4 weeks from today and 1 week to build. Who knows, i could switch again once Doom 3 comes out.

I ordered 6 JUL, ship date is still 18 AUG, so I hope mine will be less than 40 days.

I'm at 63 days (payment received June 23rd by AW). The latest estimate I have is late August. That's when I'll call again and see if there is a new estimate.

Well I am catching up, slowly but surely. 25 days, and just went to phase 6 yesterday. Only 8 more phases to go, plus shipping, oh joy.
I know my attitude will change as soon as I see that fedex guy walking towards my house with that big black box.
Almost makes a tear come to my eye.
Ok let's go drink and forget about it til it gets here.

I'm on 15 days since payment, now on Phase 5. I don't plan to see it until sometime mid October. I'm not going to sweat it, I can hold my breath a long time. With what I ordered I expected the long wait anyways. If, however, the system has anything wrong with it that isn't shipping related, lord help the ALX rep that answers the phone if I have to call.

i would have canceled in 63 days... You could be slightly outdated without even getting your system yet! my alienware is sweet but i would never have waited that long. you are a better man than me. i waited 2 weeks and was bitching.

I'm up to 77 days now. So far, my system isn't outdated. I'm just waiting for the magical high-end parts that nobody else can get, either. My last estimates were that all the pieces should be here by tomorrow. The only upside to waiting, is I'll get back over $300 because the price is dropping a bit.

If they push out my dates any more, I might consider saying "Uncle". If they waited to charge you until they had all the parts to build the system, I wouldn't mind the wait. I'm sure someone is putting my money to good use while we wait.

That includes two hurricanes... adn I know its left Orlando due to Fed Ex Tracking
I am suppose to get it tomorrow...

with the huge wait as it is im not holding my breath

The thing that piss's me off was the estimated build date was aug 25

so it better be worht it to wait that long, knowing Dell could have ahad a comperable system in less that 2 weeks
