For Windows XP (pro)

Ok here is my issue. I have two identical computers. setting them both up for two different people. I totally configured one, and ghosted the image to the other. So now I have two totally identical computers.

Person 1's computer has all of Person 1's info on the computer (as the owner, user name, etc.)

Person 2's computer has all of Person 1's info on the computer (as the owner, user name, etc.)

I need to have Person 2's info on Person 2's computer.

Is this possible?

Only things that seemed to be needing change is the User Name (I guess I could just make another and delete that one), but especially the Owner name. The name that shows up when you open up the system control panel.

Thanks for any info

open regedit

go to hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion

the values for registered owner and registered organization should be in there

It wouldn't be that simple for user accounts. WinXP values security greatly. Each user and local user group is assigned a unique SID that looks like this: S-1-5-21-234423421-34343223-..... The password is also encrypted elsewhere.

I had a whole load of tools to do things just like this... but I deleted them literally five minutes ago and emptied my recycle bin! Never fear though, some apps to exist to do stuff like this... just google it.
