DVD Problems (Any DVD or Program)

When ever I try to play ANY DVD using any player the program crashes. The dvd will play for 2 or 3 seconds before this happens.


Any help would be great.

Update

PowerDVD works... but WinDVD 4, WMP and Pcfriendly do not. WinDVD did work in the past but I have no clue what I may have done.

Another Update

NOw I'm losing sound during the movie. Only DVD sound nothing else.

???

I was having problems with WINDVD and WMP also. Powerdvd and WMP are now working. Uninstall pcfriendly. It's garbage.

There are also a couple of DVD-related downloads (registry keys) on the Sager website download section. You may want to check those out.

Yeah I looked through Sagers site for dvd patches and the most relevant thing I found was a sound level booster. It work very well so I am happy I stumbled upon that. I looked for some sort of performance patch but I found nothing like that.

I upgraded my WinDVD to the Platinum version and it has given me no trouble whatsoever. Now, if only the DVD's you can't click to select a function would let you.
