And ... they are shipping now ..
And ... they over $1000 less ...

So ... I feel like an ass but it's just not the same without the cool case

I'll try to convince myself it's all about the service ..

Cyberpower's service is definetely lacking and I dont think you should feel any remorse regarding your purchase. By buying alienware, you have also purchased yourself an entrance to an elite group/brotherhood.

Elite brotherhood of what...people who spend too much money on computer systems for how they look?
So does alienware just buy laptops from some distributor, throw its case on, and jack up the price? I assumed they actually put it together themselves.

dude... if alienware would offer a rush service man I would pay the money -.- this is getting ****ty.

Why bash alienware owners?
I'm not bashing anyone. I have a Sentia myself. I just wanted to know what you meant by brotherhood. And as a corrollary, it seems as though we paid too much.

This is probably a good wake up call as to how far it has gone with the arguement between the Area 51 crowd and the Sentias (or for any comparison arguement). The Sentia is an Elite crowd and one that you might try to walk away from but will never hide.

There is something to be said about an AW owner, while many complain- the supplementary and ancillary service AW offers is worth some price jump over most.

No AW doesnt assemble **** on the laptops, they slap in ram, wireless, hdd, and cpu and thats it. Everything else comes prefabbed and assembled from asia.
