Why is this AW so Shiny? - Page 2

I have to agree....when i took my cyborg green lappy out of the box and slide that plastic cover off i was shocked how shinny the finish was just like a brand new car rolling off the assemble line. I have heard the silvers are a matte fininsh and slightly rough.....like shark skin....lo No doubt in my mind I would go with either the blue or the green. One thing I was upset about...ok its just a small thing. They paint the battery that comes with your Area 51m but the additional one I ordered isnt. Ok I know you really cant see it but for 3500 bucks you think they could spare alittle paint.

No, it is not for sale. Sorry I gave you the wrong impression. Just saying that shiny green laptop that started this thread looks just like mine. Yes, I agree, it sure would be nice to have one of each color to use depending on your mood (or outfit) for the day.

but then they'd have to ask what color system you have, and personally I like it being 2 different colors, it made it easier to tell which battery needed charging.

oh ok, I copied that pick off a auction. I sorta thought you were saying it was your picture. If it is your pic but not your auction, scam alert!

Anyways, whoever owns that, or any green AW...had better wax...or spit shine it...or their not worthy of owning it...and must sell it immediately...to me...j/k...or not.

your right that's the great thing about AW the outside finish and color is certainly eye candy, but that's not all it still has great hardware under the hood
