Hey guys,

first of all I`m from a german Notebook-board, so sorry for my pretty worse englisch.

The problem is known I think: WIth the newest OMEGA/Catalyst/DNA Drivers all Video Applications are freezing, and all we can do is a total reset.

Even before I read of this problem herem I thought again I`m the damn most stupid person, cuz I cants get it work. But it looks like many people around here got that Problem,

so i wanted do know whats the Best/most actual Driver at the moment that works without those Problems, and which is the fastest for Games ?!?! Sorry if its said a thousand times before, but germans do have special rights here I think

Hopefully

I think that the 4.5 are stable.

PS: I have to reinstall the wohle system, so I want to have the newest driver of all compnents. Are the drivers from Clevo.com.tw the newest (graphiccard & sound exkluded), or can I get newer Chipset/LAN/whatever driver from other sites ? My Problem is to find the Notebook specific drivers, for example the chipset driver on intel.com ?!

The drives on Sager's site are supposed to be the newest, but they generally arn't; you're better off going to each manufacturer site and getting the drivers you need (like sound, chipset, bluetooth, etc). As for the graphics card, either the normal 4.5s or the Omega 4.5s will work fine.

Just a note to those with 8887 machines. My friend who bought my 8887 installed Joint Operations Typhoon Rising and it wouldn't work. I installed 4.5 on that one just before he took posession of it. Yesterday he told me that Delta Force Blackhawk Down wouldn't work on it either. I had that game installed on it and played it most of the time I had that machine. I rolled back his driver to 4.4 and they both started working. I don't know if that is a problem with all 8887's or not, but it made a big difference on that one. It could make a difference on other models as well.
