I have a question about the warrenty - do I have to go directly thru ASUS for support, or do I go through the store where I bought the notebook?

Usually the store.

How many of you guys have bought the M6BN online? I really wanted to buy from a physical store, but it seems like the store I want it from may be out of stock for awhile.

I'm in Canada, so are there any websites in Canada that sell the M6BN? Do all US websites ship to Canada?

The power brick is rated at 19V and 3.42A. Mine gets very very warm in use. I'm going to try to find a compatible tip for my Targus PRPW300U universal power adapter and use that instead.

damn.. that means it woudnt work on the plane.. someone told me that the airplane port supplies only 15 v and not 19 v.... though when u see the wattage its 64 w which is well below the 75 w limit..

If your airline adapter does efficient DC-DC conversion it can step up the 15V to 19V and everything will work. If not, then not. It seems the Targus isn't very good at this, it won't run my laptop off the 12V in my car.

well 12v to 19v is a huge jump. if your in canada just hop to canadian tire and get a motomaster voltage regulator thingy that lets you plug in normal stuff. its on sale for like $30
